NMSC (National Marine Science Centre) AQUARIUM - Your window to the Solitary Islands
Come explore the underwater wolrd of the Solitary Islands Marine Park, at the National Marine
Science Centre's Aquarium - without getting wet !
You will have the opportunity to see spectacular species that inhabit this unique
environment through a series of marine aquariums and visual displays.
The National Marine Science Centre is a Coporate Entity owned jointly by Southern Cross
University and the University of New England.

Open Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Tours begin every hour, on the hour

COFFS HARBOUR - North Coast Regional BOTANIC GARDEN
Located in Hardacre Street, Coffs Harbour, the garden offers visitors a unique blend of flora, recreation, education and relaxation.
Entry is free (a donation is appreciated), and regular events held at the garden include:
  • February: Botanical Jazz - annual series of four open-air jazz concerts in late summer
  • April: Coffs Harbour Lillipilli Art & Craft Exhibition - the biggest art and craft show between Sydney and Brisbane
  • May: Mother's Day in the Garden - free event featuring a concert, barbecue and Devonshire teas
  • September: Father's Day in the Garden - free event featuring a concert, barbecue and Devonshire teas
  • September/October: Botanica Spring Festival - Free festival featuring native plant sales, information stalls, community groups, arts and crafts displays, lunchtime concert, barbecue and Devonshire teas
